EVERYONE IS GETTING SICK OF THE WORD ‘PIVOT’ BUT THIS REALLY IS A FANTASTIC STORY AND WE ARE PUMPT!                                                             


The Caffeinated Kiwis story began from a need to adapt to this dynamically changing world and make our clients products that had always had a history of supplying souvenir stores across NZ in a new and more direct way. But how do you do that… our client has always designed, sourced and produced as a wholesaler so this was a gigantic leap into the unknown but they trusted Pumpt with the task of developing and creating a new brand and channel to sell their products.


First, we needed to come up with a brand that would showcase they were local and NZ owned. There is a long story behind this but in short was born after many boardroom sessions brainstorming. Now what – design a logo and by line. Easy – ‘get energised, go shopping’ 


Now the website, so so many products and we ended up with 96 product categories alone. The ecommerce website was designed to be contemporary with a colour scheme to uplift and inspire and making shopping super easy.


Now obviously you can’t launch a new brand and not tell anyone so we hit the market with a strong investment and the media campaign strategy was focused on radio, print and letterbox distribution using a catalogue we designed to showcase their breath of products and digital mrec ads on hard heading mass websites.


The radio script we wrote focused on introducing the brand as one you needed to be in the know about and we introduced ‘Tash and Hannah’ in a café chatting about what Tash had found. You will hear more of their stories as we continue to evolve.

Now as a new division of the 100% Kiwi owned, The Derek Corporation, one of New Zealand’s longest standing direct sourcing companies, the Caffeinated Kiwis brand is a new direct to consumer ecommerce website brand that will bring their amazing products direct to New Zealanders and their families throughout the world. Offering a vast range of products such as: Apparel, Food, Homewares, Toys, Manchester, Skincare, Fashion Accessories and more…
